PGA Golf Management at EKU
EKU's PGA Golf Management Program is accredited by the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA) for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, PGA Golf Management Option.
Eastern Kentucky University's PGA Golf Management program is an option within the College of Business and Technology's Department of Management, Marketing and International Business. The College's School of Business is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).
Graduates of EKU's PGA Golf Management program earn a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing and the PGM option. Students receive a comprehensive business education that prepares them for responsible positions in the golf industry. The PGA Golf Management component contains 34 credit hours of 130 credit hours required to earn a BBA degree. Upon graduation a PGA Golf Management student from EKU will be eligible to apply for PGA Membership.
Students must follow the Academic Procedures and Regulations of the University as well as those in the College of Business and Technology and the School of Business.
- Complete all EKU, CBT, and PGA Golf Management requirements.
- Complete PGA Testing & Seminars.
- Complete 16 months of approved Cooperative Education experiences.
- Pass the PGA Playing Ability Test.
- Attend two national workshops hosted by PGA Employment Services.
