PGA Golf Management Mission and Vision
Eastern Kentucky University
Established in 1906 as a teacher’s college, Eastern Kentucky University has grown into a dynamic, comprehensive university with over 16,000 students. One of eight state-assisted, public universities in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, EKU is located in the heart of the famed Bluegrass Region of Kentucky. Fifty-four percent of the U. S. population lives within 600 miles of the EKU campus, and over 38 million people live within 300 miles. Coupled with high quality educational programs and competitive tuition rates, education at EKU is feasible and accessible to many and is a sound value for the money. Historically, Eastern Kentucky University has prided itself as a "school of opportunity." EKU provides opportunity in a number of ways, including the fact that our university serves a high percentage of first-generation college students, and a student learning-oriented faculty that aims to facilitate our students’ education and professional development to reach full potential.
Eastern Kentucky University is a student-centered comprehensive public university dedicated to high-quality instruction, service, and scholarship.
