Tyler Collet T19 After Round 1 of The Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Tyler Collet, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University PGA Golf Management program is playing in The Honda Classic this year. With a hot start and then a couple bogeys, he was able to get back some momentum and get three more birdies for a final score of 68 (-2) in the first round.  Tyler tees it up at 1:35pm so keep an eye out for him.

Alumni Alert! Katie Weidmar - PGA Merchandiser of the Year - Private Catagory - Winged Foot Golf Club - Mamaroneck, NY

Katie Wiedmar, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, has won the PGA Merchandiser of the Year for private clubs for the entire US.  Katie, a 2012 graduate of EKU PGA Golf Management has been recognized for her hard work and dedication to merchandising and the promotion of golf. Katie has had a long career in golf and at Winged Foot Golf Club.

It is a great day to be a Colonel! EKU PGA Golf Management Staff, Students, and Alumni attended the annual PGA Show January 23rd - 26th. The PGA Show is the largest single sport industry show in the world. People from all over the world travel to check out what the PGA Show has and what the new industry trends and standards are.
