Senior Michelle Goda from Plainfield, Ind., was selected to receive the 2017 Director’s Award for service and dedication to Eastern Kentucky University's PGA Golf Management program. She received the award at the PGA Golf Management spring awards ceremony in April.

The director’s award for the academic year is given to the student who embodies the meaning of service and leadership in the PGA Golf Management program. The student shows dedication through continuous hard work, dependability and ability to go above and beyond for the program and its students.

According to PGA/GM director Kim Kincer, “Michelle Goda was an easy choice for the Director’s Award this year. Through her leadership the PGA Golf Management Student Association was involved in several community endeavors. Michelle excelled in the classroom and represents our program well in the golf industry.”
