Caviness Recognized at 2013 Critical Thinking Teaching of the Year Awards

Tyler Caviness

Mr. Tyler Caviness, Program Coordinator for EKU's PGA Golf Management program, was nominated for the EKU Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year Award.

EKU's Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year is an award that was developed by the Office of Quality Enhancement Programs in order to recognize outstanding faculty members who have had an effect on developing their students’ critical/creative thinking skills. Currently enrolled students were surveyed before mid-term grades were posted and asked to nominate a professor with a brief explanation of why they think their nominee should be an EKU Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year.

Congratulations to all college faculty, both full time and part time, who were nominated for the Critical Thinking Teacher Award.

The Third Annual Critical Thinking Teacher of the Year Awards ceremony was be held on May 1st in the Grand Reading Room of the John Grant Crabbe Main Library.  For more information, contact the QEP Office at 622-6765.
