Austin Molen, a PGA/Golf Management junior from Florence, Ky., recently participated in a fundraising event hosted by his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Held at The Bull at Boone’s Trace Golf Club on September 19, 2014, the event raised $5,080.13. The chapter raised this money through T-shirt sales, revenue through players, donations, sponsorships, and a silent auction of company merchandise.

Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization that focuses on giving money to children’s hospitals. Founded in 1983, the company has since raised more than five billion dollars in their efforts, helping hospitals across the nation afford research facilities and better treatment options for children and their families.

Another chapter fundraising event is planned for the spring semester of 2015.
