PGA/GM 2013 Director's Award announced

Matt Love with PGA/GM Director Kim Kincer

Senior Matt Love from Lexington, KY, received the 2013 Director’s Award for service and dedication to Eastern Kentucky University's PGA Golf Management program for the academic year. He received the award at the PGA Golf Management spring awards ceremony in April.

The director’s award is given to the student who embodies the meaning of service and leadership in the PGA Golf Management program.  The student shows dedication through continuous hard work, dependability and ability to go above and beyond for the program and its students.

According to PGA/GM director Kim Kincer, “Matt Love transferred to EKU from the PGA GM program at Methodist University. When he got to EKU, he immediately got involved with the PGM Student Golf Association, and became involved with our tournament program. Eventually, he became our tournament director. He was always willing to do whatever he could to make the program better. He has been one of the most dependable young men in the program.
