Program Involvement
PGA Golf Management Student Association
The EKU PGA Golf Management Student Association provides opportunities for leadership and skill development in specific areas of the golf industry. The Association is managed by students who organize and conduct the tournament program, social and community service events, and student testing review sessions.
The primary goal of the Association is student involvement. Students are encouraged to be active members of the PGA Golf Management Student Association so they may play a role in the day-to-day activities of PGA Golf Management.
PGA Golf Management Tournament Committee
The EKU PGA Golf Management Tournament Committee is a unique opportunity to get involved with our tournament program. Our tournaments are primarily student led and is a great way to gain experience in tournament operations. The students are charged with setting up, take down, starting, printing scorecards and various other activites that help a tournament run smoothly while also competing each week. The committee also works closely with the Student Association to put on events before some of the 36-Hole major tournaments.
The primary goal of the committee is to achieve successful and fun golf tournament for all PGA Golf Management students.
PGM Living and Learning Community (LLC)
The PGM Living Learning Community is a partnership between the Office of Residence Life and the PGA Golf Management Program. The PGM LLC provides PGA Golf Management students the opportunity to live with others in their program, the ability to connect with various faculty and golf professionals while building a sense of community on campus.
LLC Highlights
- Coordination with the PGA Golf Management tournament program at the University Club at Arlington
- Connect and engage with faculty members in the PGA Golf Management Program
- Programs for the PGM LLC are tailored to focus on success as a member of the PGA Golf Management Program. These activities include: resume building, internship preparation, and events to stay connected on campus.
